Luis Felipe Angel Alvarez Lucero
Luis is a native of Baja California Sur with extensive wisdom and knowledge about this region, having over 5 generations of indigenous lineage in his family. His profound passion for learning about and being connected to the rugged and wild natural environment of south Baja California lead him to pursue a Bachelors degree in Alternative Tourism from UABCS in La Paz. He then went on to begin working as a tour guide in Sierra de la Laguna, where he established himself as an expert tour guide in the area. Since 2020, Luis is committed to sharing with others the profound wisdom that these lands hold and the traditions that keep the indigenous culture alive. He is passionate about sharing his unique culture with people from around the world. Luis focuses on sustainable tourism with a minimal impact on the natural environment.
Jessica Abdelnour
Jessica was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Her passion for science and the natural world led her to purse a Bachelors of Science degree in Geography, Geology, and Environmental Science. She traveled to Baja California Sur in 2020 for a study abroad trip with her university to study and hike the mountain range of Sierra de la Laguna and she has been captivated by the beauty ever since. Since then, she went on to do a Park Ranger internship in the valley of Sierra de la Laguna in 2021 where she lived in the mountains for 3 months and worked on conservation and ecotourism projects. Jessica focuses on catering to her clients unique needs and wishes to create a customized and memorable experience for each group that visits Baja California Sur.
